Oops, it's been more than a week since I've posted an update.
My mom and my sister were getting a little impatient, so I thought I'd make them happy and write a little post.
I'm only a week and a few days away from my due date, and things are going really well,
I don't feel super uncomfortable or itching to get this baby out, I'm just savoring my last few weeks/days/hours (?) as a mama of one.
But who knows how I'll feel a week from now :)
//
I've been pretty busy nesting, the baby room is almost finished,
as soon as I feel it's share-able I'll post some photos.
Micha's nap time (which usually is my blogging time) has become nap time for me too lately,
that is definitely contributing to the lack of blogging.
But I actually don't mind slowing down a bit on the blogging side of life,
it's a summer thing, it's a 'getting ready for baby' thing and also a priority thing.
While I love sharing bits and pieces of my life, I want to be able to live it as well, and I think that's where my priority should be right now.
Sharing life is great, (and I'm definitely planning to keep on sharing) but living life is better, don't you think?
//
Anyways, I haven't posted a bump photo or a monthly Micha photo in a while, so here you go:
Micha, at 22 months you love:
-hugs
-playing with rocks, sand and water
-swimming
-singing your own made up songs
- being naughty
-your bed
-when your papa comes home from work
-kissing my belly
-talking and talking and talking my head off
-charming strangers
-'riding' your tricycle (you use it as a balance bike)
-being the cutest almost two-year-old there is
Baby boy:
It's almost time to meet you, little one.
It's been such a beautiful surprise to have you grow in my belly,
I've loved every minute of it, even when it meant being tired and nauseous and fat. :)
I can't wait to meet you!
Love, Mama
thank you Maria!
ReplyDeleteBut slowing down is okay, especially right now. We can't wait either though, but also very happy you are still enjoying it all!
Love you guys!
