ReplyDeleteGreat book on the helping-hurting idea by Brian Fikkert (When Helping Hurts). Papa and Mama have a copy if you want to ask them. Unless they have it in Benin. It ends up in a more positive place than that blog - there are ways to help without hurting, and I'm proud that EduDeo works to do just that!

And you should be proud! :) The one reason that blog kept me thinking was because I wasn't sure if I agreed or not, I don't know enough about the subject, and I really hadn't thought of it that way (that it might be hurting rather than helping).
