The Girl Behind the Blog - a vlog

Today I'm posting my first ever vlog, eek!
I feel so awkward in front of the camera.

I'm linking up with The Girl Behind the Blog hosted by Mackenzie and Ashley.
They've asked us to share a bit about our passions other than blogging.
So I thought I'd join in and share a bit about myself.

While I love blogging, there is so much more I love to do.
And even though I sometimes feel like I don't have any legitimate passions, see this post,  I actually do.

This is a little piece of myself.

^ ^ ^ ^

I could have done the video over and over again to make sure I had the perfect vlog, but you'll just have to do with the normal, stammering, imperfect me. And I'm okay with that!

Enjoy!

Well-p, that was me :)!

Hope you enjoyed my vlog about my passions, I'd love to hear about yours!

Love, Maria

I need you to come to the US and be my baking friend...the only terms are that I am the official taste tester! :)

I know what you mean about photos of food. I can never get mine to look as good as those food blogs! But don't let that stop you! Share what you love :)

  11. Maria, it was great to "see you" in person through your video! Your love for Micha is very evident in how you speak and write. I loved that you shared about having a good friend who is also a mom - I think sharing the real parts of motherhood, and encouraging one another, is one way that moms can be successful and thrive. I'm SO glad that you linked up!

  13. Hi Maria its Kim from SA again! What can I say? You have captured my attention and here I am still reading your blog after finding you via Ashleys "Domestic Wannabe"!!! I must admit that I totally expected an Aussie accent so when I heard your Dutch accent I was surprised! I had a good Dutch friend while in YWAM and when I heard you speak, it brought back such good memories of her! Thanks! I love your honesty in all your blogs so keep it up...I may just get into this thing too :) Cant wait for more baking treats! xxx Kim

    1. Nope, no Aussie accent here :). I lived in Australia until I was 6 and then my family moved to Canada. And when I was 10 we came to Holland. So my accent is probably a mix of all three countries.
      Thank you for reading!
And you should start up a blog, I'll be your first follower :)
